I would bet not. However this is the time most high school students would need to be asleep by to get the recommended amount
of sleep and still wake up in time for average high school start times. How much sleep is your child getting a night? Odds
are it is not the recommended 8-10 hours a night. With the pressures of school, extra-curriculars, and part-time jobs, and
social pressures, your children often sacrifice sleep to make time. While many people think that the need for sleep decreases
with age, studies have shown that high school students need as much, or even more sleep, than younger adolescents (Carskadon,
1999).
